Walk for Women's Health began with the story of a Caribbean-born woman who had lived in Canada for many years and marked her 80th birthday by walking 800 kilometers to raise funds.
Her example reminds us that walking can become more than movement. It can become a public act of care, courage, legacy, and commitment.
We walk because women's health is not separate from who we are. It shapes how we live, lead, work, care, love, worship, serve, and show up for our families and communities.
When women have access to clear information, safe spaces, and trusted answers, we are better able to take charge of our health and live with greater freedom, confidence, and dignity.
Walk with your own questions.
Walk with the questions of your mother, sister, daughter, friend, neighbour, or client.
Walk for the women who are asking quietly.
Walk for the women who have not yet found the words.
As we walk together, we will gather questions, share stories, identify concerns, and listen deeply to what women in our communities are asking. Our steps can become a movement for better health, stronger knowledge, and community-led change.
